Hey jpsesq
I have an audition the second week of June for the show, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to study or "prepare" not only for the for the test, but also for the show in general. Were there any things (trivia books, cards, study aids, etc..) you found particularly helpful when you were preparign to go on the show? Obviously, I am looking at reading up more on areas of trivia that aren't my strong suit and picking phone-a-friends that know about things I don't, but do you have any tips?
Congrats on YOUR win, too...$50K would be great...I have a goal of hopefully getting at least the $250,000.

I am very sorry that I did not respond sooner. I haven't checked this site for awhile because I have been very busy. To prepare for the show, I bought an almanac, a trivia book with facts about science, and a trivia book with popular culture facts. I also taped the show every day for several weeks and played along when I returned home from work. Additionally, I played the Millionaire board game. I think taping the show and playing along probably helped the most. As it turned out, the questions I got right were all things that I knew before I studied, or that lifelines bailed me out on.
Best of luck to you. If you get a chance, please let us know how your audition went. I hope you get on the show and reach your goal.

What happened to the prop checks you had? Did you keep them?
