Terrible news, everyone. Ever since Regis's primetime version of Millionaire began in 1999, ABC has hosted an online game on ABC.com to promote the show. Even years after the show's last episode, ABC kept the Millionaire Online Game on their website. Now, however, it has been removed from abc.com. It no longer exists. The only American online Millionaire game is on the millionairetv.com- that's a shame. I think we can guess the future of Millionaire, now folks. Primetime Millionaire has seen its last on ABC.

This is bad news, but it doesn't surprise me. When ABC ran Millionaire in prime time. the network's other shows were not doing well in the ratings, and I think that's why ABC ended up running Millionaire so often. ABC's programming is stronger now, and they don't need Millionaire as a prime time show. I hope at least that the syndicated version continues its run.

Wow, that's too bad. One wonders if ABC will ever try to delve into the game show genre again.

This comes as a surprise to me. First they get rid of the demos for the CD-Rom Games, now they delete this?

UPDATE! An article today on gameshownewsnet.com states that someone found the online game on the ABC website. Check it out!

And the unfortunate thing is that we don't get the Switch after $25K. Not only that, some of the rules are still wrong (it still mentions $32K).

Yeah, not getting the Switch the Question is really unfortunate. That's why I love Senario's Plug and Play game- having the "Switch" really helps in the higher questions. You'd think after all these years, though, they'd have updated the online game a little more than that. A new layout would be great, and maybe switch out the picture of Regis for Meredith...

Speaking of the Scenario Plug & Play game, I wasn't that impressed with it. The music is terrible to start and some of the questions are too darn easy. I would recommend buying this for diehard fans just as myself, but they may be disappointed since this game looks like it was thrown together in 30 seconds.

It's the music that ruins it. Different sound effects would make it really great. Otherwise, I like it.

I agree. I know it's great to create new stuff for shows, but why to replace? There are some of us out there that like to keep playing that old stuff we know and love.
