I think they should redo the game on their website.

That's good. I'm glad the game isn't gone for good. It's a real classic.

I noticed that the video version, which isn't all that bad, is still in circulation... although the classic '99 online version of Millionaire was really exciting. The new season 9 online game is nothing special really, it's close to the actual game, but that's not as exciting either.

The game definitely was a classic. When I was in school and before I had internet at my house, I'd go to school every morning early just to use one of the computers and play it before class. XD
There was a cool way to cheat on the online game that I discovered by accident one day. I was in the middle of a question and I wanted to pause it so I clicked on the help button which was next to walk away I believe, when you return to the game, you got a whole new question! So in a way, it's like switch the question, however many times you want it and whenever you want it.

I started using that as an unofficial Switch the Question lifeline for the upper tier after they came out with it on the actual show.

Also...when the syndicated version's online game debuted, it had a different look than that of the nighttime show. Regis' version had the 1999-2000 set (i.e. Hot Seat didn't appear until they got a contestant) as a background pic with the game menu, and they would show a crane shot of the Hot Seat prior to the next question. Meredith's version had the 2002-2009 set with Meredith and a contestant as a background pic with the game menu, and they would show a shot of the entire set (empty Hot Seat) prior to the next question. As for the video-based game that allows you to test your knowledge against previous contestants, if you click on the link to that, that'll redirect you to the current game. Here's the link to the game itself: www.dadt.com/millionaire/special/playinmay/shell.swf

Eh? That didn't appear for me. Where'd you get that? That was back when both the ABC.com and MillionaireTV.com games were available. As soon as Super Millionaire finished its run, ABC.com pulled down both their regular Millionaire and Super Millionaire pages, leaving only the MillionaireTV.com site.
