Hello, my username is Dwibs93.
I have been part of this fanforum since early-December 2010.
I have been a fan of WWTBAM since it all started here in the UK in 1998.
I have contributed to the forum, by answering questions in the Daily Millionaire section, and by leaving threads asking people what their favourite, and least favourite, things were in WWTBAM.
My intentions are mearly to play games created by the talented people who give up a lot of their time creating games for our entertainment.
I promise that I will not just take work from others and claim it as my own, as I don't know how to make software.
I will still continue to be part of this community regardless of whether I am allowed the password or not, and if I am allowed access, I will not give it to anyone, for any reason.

The fact that you waited until exactly 20 posts to audition strikes a chord with me. The primary concern of everyone here is that we don't want people to grab the password, then take off. I'm not saying you would do that, we just want to prevent it as much as possible.
I won't give a definite answer either way, but instead, I'll wait to see what others have to say.

You're absolutely right GSK. It seems like you may be someone who wants the password and then will run off with other's work. We want you to stay and be a part of the forum. Although I can't seem to put my finger on it though, it's hard to give a straight answer. I'll wait for other's input as well. As for my thoughts though, I'd wait for a while and get to know others in the forum first, but that's my opinion.

Sorry, I have to say no. Be more active in the community and maybe audition again this summer and I'll probably change my mind. But voting in Daily Millionaire and a few other short posts is insufficient.

I think the community needs to see more of you before we allow you access...remember, according to the rules 20 posts is the BARE MINIMUM required to audition but it is not recommended you audition with only 20 posts. Plus you are relatively new. Maybe you should wait a bit longer and try again another time. Sorry but I think i'll say no.

I know this may be dissapointing to you, dwibs93, but the moderators are right. You need to contribute to this site more. However, seeing that you meet the requirements, I want to say "yes". But my time to say that is not now and the only time I will say "yes" is if you can contribute. But if there is one suggestion that I can give you and that is to be patient. When I first came to this forum, I saw all the rejected post and didn't want to make the same mistakes as them. So I have to limit myself till I can get 40 posts! Then I auditioned but my impatience almost jeporadized my application (While I was auditioning, I asked more than 3 people for the fonts and lemeisei got suspicious of me and I got scared since now lemeisei can't trust me. But everything got straighten out!) and people's view on me can change. What I'm saying is that you have to be patient and as well as quickly take initiative, patiently reach your goal.  That way whatever you want to achieve, can and will be achieved. |
