I take a Junior/Senior Geoscience (Geology) class, and my teacher predicted two largely scaled earthquakes within the last month. He was right... hehe. I'm honestly surprised it hit an 8.9 on the moment magnitude scale, or was it the Richter. I don't know which one was used. I believe they use the moment magnitude, but i'm not 100%. Either way, that's still a massive earthquake. I don't believe we see many great than 7 or 8.  Very devastating to say the least. Sorry for the many who lost their lives and were injured in Japan and also in Hawaii this morning.  |

As for me, I don't believe that the world will end in 2012. I think what will happen is that the deck will be shuffled (all to do with economy). Poor people won't lose anything and it will be easier for them to get rich whereas rich people will lose everything they had. All in terms of money.

I also find no truth in this 2012 myth. But so many catastrophic geological events have happened recently so I agree with GSK, something is going on.

As I said, I don't believe in the usual 2012 theory. I firmly believe something will happen, but I don't think it's the end of the world.

Lol, millionarefan, that's exactly what happened. It was like everyone started off with a fresh slate. Kinda like a game of monopoly, everyone started off with nothing.
