Hey guys,
Regisfan helped me gain the confidence to go ahead and try out to audition here on the site, so here it goes!
Why I would like access.
It's always important to know the motives of anyone you trust. There are actually two reasons why I would like to gain access. The first is to share my work. I'm almost finished with my online browser-based game that I have worked very hard on (see regisfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=showusyourstuff&action=display&thread=1110 . I've also created completely original music cues for Millionaire (a few can be heard here: regisfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=showusyourstuff&action=display&thread=1108 . Both of these I would like to share.
I also am pretty sure you may have already have this, but I have the full WWTBAM Album CD from the UK that I can most definitely upload if anyone wants to. I'm not a music expert, but I believe it's what you'd call "studio master quality."
The second reason is the typical one -- I love Millionaire and would LOVE to play other's games from in the section.
Why I can be trusted?
When I first saw the site, I marveled at what's behind the password-demanding doors of the Fan Game's section. Not really anymore, because although I haven't been here very long, I've already become friends with a few people. I'm completely overwhelmed at how nice and welcoming everyone is. This is in fact the first forum in which I felt comfortable sharing my first name with, which is Ben. Feel free to refer to me as whatever you'd like .
I've always given credit when its due, such as when I asked leimeisei for his graphics to make the online game. He entrusted me with them, and in a strange way, I felt very honored. I thanked him numerous times as well as credited him in the thread about the game.
Anyways, I'd really like to share with you my software and I hope you can trust me enough to share yours with me.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my audition. I've really grown to like you guys! I look forward to becoming a truly long-term member of the site.
Sincerely,
Ben
