Any of you play the Millionaire Facebook Game? Then you would know that Meredith played the facebook game on September 8th (Thursday), she actually won $1,000,000!!! And there is now a YouTube video of that via Millionaire's backstage pass

Oh really? Too bad they had to block the game from other countries. You may have noticed there was one part where , Meredith answered the $250,000 question incorectly, and lost $74,300, she had $99,300 in her bank and just dropped down the $25,000 like that, shame.
I have actually never won the $1,000,000 on the Facebook game, but there are 2 people I know that have, Meredith (of course) and BL5965.

I think proxys might work to play the game in the US but you would have to sign up again saying that you are from the US and have a US IP address from a proxy.

I play the Millionaire Facebook game often so coming by the $1,000,000 top prize is rare for some, but possibly if you're good and lucky indeed. |

Quite impressive, Meredith. I've played the Facebook game, and it's no joke - it can be really difficult sometimes. Can't lie guys, I have a bit of envy...although I guess it's fitting that the host wins the 1,000,000.

You know Meredith did say she isn't the best at trivia... even though she won $125,000 on primetime during Celebrity Millionaire some time ago.
It was definitely easier to win the $1,000,000 on the Facebook game when it first came out. Even though there was 10 questions in Round 1 and only 1 person made it to Round 2... if you made it to Round 2, winning the million was a piece of cake because all of the questions from Round 2, at the time, were from the Wii/PC game, the iPhone/iPad game, and from previous shows, so us true Millionaire fans had it easy.

Same here i was impressed that she managed to win the million on the Facebook game. I have won it before as well but like millionairefan28 said winning it is very tough even when they add new questions.

I tell ya, it happened Tuesday December 20th, for the 1st time I decided to answer a question a question in Round 2, and end getting a right answer winning $250,000. In the end I walked away with $351,400 (which got me into Level 10). That score beats my all time record of $220,000. Never before that I gotten money in Round 2, Asked the Audience and Walked Away, always. |

I've won the million as well, once! Normally I end up bombing out of Round 2 on $250,000 or $500,000.

Glad to hear u won the Million but what's really scary in Round 2 if you get a question wrong, u drop all the way down to only $25,000, which is bokus. You should be able to be guarenteed all the money earned in Round 1, going into Round 2. To get a question in Round 2 and lose some of the money you banked in Round 1, so unfair. Say you had $432,900 in ur bank, then u get the next question and get it wrong. All of sudden, u lose $407,900. All the money u could have added to your grand total. GONE. JUST GONE!!! |

What a shame that these forums have gone inactive. That's really neat to see Meredith actually win the million -- you see her plastered all over the official website and I've wondered many times how well she would do taking the "hot seat" a second time.
The facebook version of the game is really fun, but nothing beats the old, syndicated format to me. I, personally, am not a fan of the randomized question difficulty/value in the current format. Thankfully, the second half of the game makes up for it.
