Trying to think of how to make the game as realistic as possible I came up with this idea: what about if the contestant/host video was pasted into that massive "Super Millionaire" logo that takes up most of the screen and isn't really that much use? Could that possibly work?

Not sure, but that brings up an interesting idea. We could make the videos separately and put them all together to make an entire run of Millionaire. Putting the separate videos together would probably be picture in picture... but yeah. Then eventually post a video of the full run. How's that for an idea?

Adasiekkk, Camtasia will allow me 2 do that, so I will do that. Millionairefan, I had the same idea...to put the videos together and post it as one whole video seems like a better idea...that way we're not flooding the forum with pointless 30 second videos

I have a question about this idea. Will this tournament be done using youtube annotations like others or will this be a private thing only through the foums?

The actual RPG videos will probably be posted through the forums, but the joint video with every player edited might be on YouTube...what d'ya think?

The official Millionaire Fans Fifth Anniversary RPG is now complete. This video project can be the next official site RPG, if you guys would like that. If so, I'd like you all to elect an organizer/leader to oversee the project. Then, I'll start a thread for you in the "Let's Play" section of the site for you to officially start planning and delegating responsibilities.

Well, I'll step up and offer to lead and play as host/computer along with some others if you'd like to. Hopefully, if you want, we can, with some of you (Adasiekkk, Headshotmagnet, thorklein, etc.) can alternate that role.
I'll also be glad to prepare 5 question sets for 5 games and i'll send them out to those playing the host/computer role. I think it's best to be able to capture your computer screen and your face if you can if you are the host/computer.
As for the contestants, I don't want to limit our possibilities to those who have a video camera. So, while we'll be looking for those who can post a video of them telling the host what they want to do, I think it's best to open this up to audio for the contestant as well, and even just text at a last resort.
Thanks everyone, this should be tons of fun. Anyone have any suggestions or comments, questions?

Not really in particular...I'll have no problem being the host for a couple of games, its not a big deal. However, the Camtasia trial will only work for another 15 days, so I've gotta be quick about it because the other program I have is Fraps and, unless I record 2 things seperately, I will not be able to put my face in the screen (which is a boo).

Hmmm...I have to be honest but I don't like the rave music being used for this. It's a classic millionaire Video RPG, the rave one is just so not classic. I would prefer one of the first 3 UK Intro's (1998 - 2007 intros), but instead there would be a US Logo instead of the UK one. I wonder is that could be done?
