NOTE: If this is the wrong section for this material, please feel free to move it! Hello! I think it would be a great idea to host a Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Skype Competition or, maybe even, a Tournament of Ten. I also think it would be a great idea for the forum to get to know me and my style a little bit as well...and, to admit, I've always wanted to host a game show  . So, if Regisfan even accepts it, I could arrange a date to do something like that over Skype. If he approves, I will host sign-ups for the tournament. Thank you all, and btw, this forum really rocks! I would think it would be a great idea for an event like this to happen. This would be a problem for our international members because of time differences. I made a discussion a while ago talking about maybe having a skype call, but the time differences made it difficult. Millionairefan28 made a suggestion of having a video part on the forum (I keep forgeting to make one), regisfan agreed to this and made a section in "Introduce Yourself" for videos. It would be a good idea for someone like you, or others, to post videos of you asking the questions and having the graphics on the screen. It is a great idea but the time differnces make this almost impossable.

How about a video recorded RPG game? As in, record videos along the way? Just a thought.

I do agree with the fact of the time differences...i figured there would be problems with that...If we do some sort of video RPG, that would be great! However, I have a question...when you are making the video, how do you put the graphics onto the screen?
EDIT: Also, I have a suggestion for this if it happens...since there are many members here that are not from the US, in fact there are members from all around the world, why don't we come up with a unified currency symbol like "P" for points? So the top prize would be P1,000,000? Just a thought

Screenflow for Mac or Camtasia for Windows is perfect. I have both so maybe I'll be the computer for the games unless someone else has that software as well. ;D

I was thinking about doing it myself that way I could just put it into the videos when I host it...if you want to be the computer and supply me with some questions, that would be good too...also, I was thinking about using the classic money tree and format...what d'ya think?

Yep, I'd go classic money tree, I'll PM Regisfan and see if it's an idea we'd like to pursue. BTW, we can flip flop as computer/host between a few games. ;D

If you guys can organize this RPG and work out the logistics, I'm perfectly fine with the idea. If you can get everything worked out and ready to go, this can be the next official site RPG.
Ideally, I'd like to wrap up the current RPG before this one begins. We have our last contestant playing the game, and it's just taking forever. If anyone wants to jump in and help us out there to get that RPG wrapped up and this one started, I'd really appreciate it. We're badly in need of a host, and it might be good practice for the video RPG if you're interested.
That being said, there's no reason that work on the video RPG can't begin right now. Just make sure that everyone who is participating is 100% dedicated to playing his role, because it only takes one person to derail an RPG.

Very true Regisfan. I'm definitely up for the RPG. I'm also here to step in as host and computer for the recent RPG if needed. I have all the questions, although not in clock format (classic instead), and can finish up that game if you suggest.
I'm open to taking the role of host/computer for any or all the games on this video-created RPG. Again, I do have incredible software for capturing as the host and computer and I think the use of nyknicks' Super Millionaire software will be good for use if we are going classic. It's probably best that we go classic in my opinion.
Anyone else care to step up and take a role perhaps?

I could perhaps do any audio/video editing (unless anybody else is willing to do it [yes, Lilian, I'm talking to you and your mixing board :L ] ). And if there is anything left by the end that no-one wants to do, I'll take on that role.
