So...yeah... I was busy tracking down an editor for Huffington Post about a video of mine they are using in an article and I found this. He...I...they...what is this I don't even...just look.
Obviously it's a joke but Millionaire taped a fake million dollar question for this guy and used Jehan Shamsid-deen's million dollar question. I'm.. confused...

Well at least it was nice to finally see a $1MILLION question in the shuffle format even though it wasn't a real one. Also, good thing that EPIC FAIL!!! ($475,000 loss) didn't actually count ;D
Another thing I heard some other cue besides the $1MILLION question cue while the question was in play.

The cue in question is the base beat they use in studio, while in post, they add the rhythm itself. As for this video, I'm pretty confused too. |

This is so strange! It's almost as if this guy just asked the producers if he could film this video, and they agreed... AND they got Meredith to hang around and film it. He must know somebody in the production.
And yes, that is the base beat that you hear in the studio. It's quite underwhelming while you're attending a taping, let me tell you. I really hate that the in-studio experience is no longer the same as the at-home experience.

Head writer or not, it's still a little bizarre that they would film this. (But at least this gives me the info that $500K/$1M question lighting are similar so I don't have to go back and change them in my Shuffle game.  ) |

Ahha, I knew his name was familiar. I probably should have looked at his site first. At least we can put a face behind all those comically written innuendo questions we see on the show now. It's just a hunch, but I have a feeling he was the one who wrote that question |

Mystery solved. In retrospect, a Google search probably would have cleared that up right away. I think we were all too blinded by our fan jealousy to think straight. What any of us wouldn't give to have five minutes to goof around on that set...
