Hello Everybody, I'm Idolsfan and I'm a French fan of wwtbam since it first aired in France in 2000 (I was 7 at the time). What fascinates me the most about this show is how it is built, i.e. the set, the graphics, the musics the questions and the backstage, to sum up, everything that make this show like no other. By coming on this forum, I really hope to talk with people who are as much interested in this brilliant show as I am.
Few years ago, I designed a soundboard for classic millionaire in keynote (the presentation software of apple, which is more useful than Keynote because all the files included in the presentation are inside the presentation file, not in the same folder, which is easier to move files without losing resources): Here are some caps of what I've done:
I have also started few days to design a host screen from the clock version based on the layout that was published by millionaire gamer last year (because it was the closest to the original one). Except for that layout that I got the inspiration from, I added a more "graphical" user interface made in photoshop for the different frames (which are edited from the money tree frame in the iOS game), different icons for the statistics area which are "better looking" in my point of view, even if they are not exactly the same as the one used in the original one. I also put 8 lifelines, "50:50", 'Phone-A-Friend", "Ask The Audience", "Switch", "Three Wise Men", "Double Dip", "Ask The Expert" and "Ask One of the Audience". Of course, the 8 lifelines are not supposed to be available for the same game, it's at the host choice to chose how many lifelines and which lifelines can be used for the game. I also made different backgrounds depending on the levels of question, the normal one for the the logo screen and the screen for explaining the game, then darker for the first 5 questions, then darker for the 5 following questions, darker for the 4 following questions and for the Million dollar question its nearly dark. The only problem, which is a big one, I only have the graphics in the presentation, I didn't put anything else in the powerpoint, simply because I don't know how to make the clock stop, put the question automatically in the presentation, make the lifelines work without reseting the clock, putting the remaining time in bank and pause the music when needed. If anyone is interested in telling me how to do everything, I'd be glad for it. Here are some screenshots of what I have done so far, i.e. how does the screen looks like:
Thank you in advance for welcoming me on this forum and thanks to anyone who is willing to help me in this project that I started.
