Do you think Regis would be good on the syndicated version of Millionaire. I know he turned it down, but do you think it would be different without him?
Meredith is good, I have nothing against her- but I think Regis would do a much better job.

I agree,i think regis would do a lot better than meredith does,its just not the same without him.

Yeah, when I think of Millionaire, I think of Regis. The two go together in my mind. That's why I loved Super Millionaire: Not only was it exciting, it had REGIS in it! Can you imagine Super Millionaire with Meredith?  |

I couldnt,i dont think she does the whole "drama" thing that well,which would drag super millionaire down.

Exactly- she is more of a fun person. She forgets the whole drama part of Millionaire. She is too casual. Regis was funny AND dramatic- he knew when the moment was to be funny, and when to play up the drama factor.

yeah,plus im not too sure i like the idea of making $32,000 into $25,000 Syndie millionaire dosent give away that much anyway.

yeah,now one thing i think they should do is get rid of the three wise men lifeline in super millionaire and replace it with the switch the question one.

My thoughts exactly- the three wise men are almost useless on some questions, where as switch the question almost always helps.

Regis was really insulted when ABC took his Millionaire off the air, so when they asked him to host the syndicated version, he said no- a decision he regrets to this day. So, they went to Meredith next, and she accepted. |

And let's not forget, she won $250K on Celebrity IV of Primetime Millionaire.
Although, if I were Davies, I probably would've recruited Barbara Walters to do it. She hasn't done a game show host gig yet, give her a chance, I say.

It would be nice to see Regis back on Syndi. As I've stated before some days Meredith gabs on with her contestants. It's not The View dear! We've got a game to play! Other than that, Meredith does an amazing job with faking out the contestants. I always try to do that with the version of Millionaire I host in my hometown.
