Sad news for the game show community today. Richard Dawson passed away at the age of 79. Mr. Dawson was the original host of Family Feud, a regular Match Game panelist, and a successful film and television actor. A true game show legend and a remarkable star, Mr. Dawson will be greatly missed.

I'll always remember Richard for his laugh and the way he could turn a stale question on match game into something funny. Ty Richard Dawson you will be missed

Oh my gosh! The unexpected has happened! I will always remember Richard's creative and hilarious sense of humor, especially the time when he proposed to a girl on Family Feud, but the girl denied, explaining that she was already in love with another man. Anyway, the girl gave Richard a bucket of rice, and Richard replies, "Who cares?", and that, "I've got enough rice to make pudding anyway."
RIP Richard Dawson, we miss you dearly.
