Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? marks its incredible 14th year this summer with a three day live special that will see members of the public get the chance to win life changing sums of money in Live Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? The People Play.
A new and exciting element of interactivity is at the heart of the show’s first non-celebrity series in two years. For the FIRST TIME EVER viewers will be able to turn their armchairs into the Hotseat by playing along with an online game. Viewers at home will answer the same questions as contestants live on air, with the speed of their responses ranked in a leader board amongst other online competitors. But the big question is: just how knowledgeable is the UK? Get ready... FINGERS ON BUZZERS!
Overseeing proceedings is quiz master, Chris Tarrant, as he looks to add to the five millionaires that have gone all the way to the top of the money tree. It is also the first time competitors will battle live against the clock; will they be able to stand the test of the timer?
Chris says; “People at home always think they could do better than the contestants in the studio so with Millionaire’s added interactivity we’ll see just how good they really are! During my 14 years on the show I’ve seen over 1000 members of the public walk away with big money prizes and I’m looking forward to asking more questions that could change the fortunes of everyday people."
