1st January, 8pm AND 8th January, 8pm on ITV1 An all-star line-up will take their place in the Millionaire hotseat in two New Year Specials to attempt to win money for their favourite charities. A dozen famous faces will join Chris Tarrant on 1st January at 8pm and 8th January at 8pm on ITV to start 2013 with a bang. |

You're right! That's new. Well, they've also been using the syndie clock version of of the Hotseat Crossover clue, so I guess they're trying to mix it up a bit.
Btw, is it just me or were the pillar animations smoother in the old studio? It was the only thing I noticed about the "new" set. I remember that "wavy" animation to be a bit quicker. Mind you, I was really trying to find something that's changed, so I could be imagining it.
I just saw that this episode had 2.9m viewers. I don't want to say that UK Millionaire might not see 2014, because I don't wanna get an angry message from a user again, but it's not looking too good...
