Greetings Millionaire Fans,

Now that the site is running on Proboards v5, the Fan Games Sharing Center is now protected more securely than ever before. Only members in the "Fan Games Board All-Access Pass" member group can access the Fan Games Sharing Center. The password system is now obsolete. We no longer have to worry about members obtaining the password through unscrupulous means, as the only way a member can gain access to the Fan Games Sharing Center is through an administrator-level change to his or her account. In other words, if I don't personally add a member to the group, that member has no hope of accessing the Fan Games Sharing Center. Our community's Millionaire fan games and other wonderful creations are now protected better than ever before.

Any member who previously held the password to the Fan Games Sharing Center has been automatically added to the "Fan Games Board All-Access Pass" member group. From this point on, members who complete a successful audition will be added to the member group - the password distribution system is officially at an end.

Enjoy the extra security, fellow fans.

I just noticed this! This is great and I'm pleased that you have such a system in place. I have started trying out some of these games for myself and I will admit that some of our members have done a FANTASTIC job with their projects and I'd hate to see any outsider steal it and claim any or all of it as their own work. Thanks for making this a better place for us all!

By the way, you may want to edit the forum description to get rid of the password protected text.

I am very glad this has been established, who knows what members on this site has been able to either receive the password through guessing or other means, but this way now, we'll have a more secure board for the fan games!

I feel a little more secure of distributing some of my graphics over in the fan games as well, now that this newer system is established!

I think it is better not to only list the members' display names, but also their usernames. Display names can be changed, but usernames can't. I just want to prevent impersonation.
