Hey there everyone, I was thinking about the boards the other time, and I came up with a conclusion that it needs tidying up a little. prntscr.com/17kjr3Well... prntscr.com/17kjizOkay, don't get me wrong. prntscr.com/17kjtsJoacen is doing a magnificent job with collecting and recording all this data. But maybe it would be more appropriate if it was all in one thread? Same goes towards my good ol' friend from Poland prntscr.com/17kkq4prntscr.com/17kkthI don't know, maybe I'm just being very picky. But I just like when stuff is tidy. Perhaps merging all those small threads into a bigger one could make it look a bit nicer? Don't get me wrong, it's just a suggestion. Also, maybe the Fan Games section could be split up into sub-sections for actual games, any materials such as music and graphics, and then other protected content. I hope I'm not being too pushy with this, btw. If I am, lemme know

I agree with you because these threads are flooding away other interesting threads. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that these threads are useless but it would be more legitimate if they were all in one thread. The thing that bothers me the most is signatures. I don't want to be mean but signatures should be more discrete than the post themselves. Your post is 420 pixels high on my computer while your signature is 459 pixels high. In other forums in which I am a member, there are things you can't put in signatures, like images or long texts and I really think that it is legitimate to regulate the use of signatures on the forum as a signature is less important than the thread, therefore it should look discrete and should not contain images, especially when it's flashing images because it catches the eye instead of the posts. Please don't see it as a personal attack against you, I have nothing against you, but the forum could only be a better place if everybody kept their signatures simple. Idolsfan

I definitely think that there are some parts of the site that need to be tidied up. I really appreciate the dedication of members who consistently keep track of Millionaire minutia and provide the community with such a wonderful record of the goings-on of any version of the show. That being said, I don't see a reason why we can't clean up the boards and condense that information into a single thread that can be updated as often as needed.
I'm talking to FinalAnswer19 about this right now, and we're forming a game plan for how to best organize these threads.
I'm also in favor of categorizing the Fan Games Sharing Center. That would make it easier to search through that particular board to find specific threads.

After some unexpected delays, I have finally started to restructure the forum.
Some of my initial changes include:
1) The total winnings threads have been moved to their own sub-board. I considered merging all of the threads, but chose not to in order to preserve the integrity of the data - thread titles cannot be merged, so the date information would have been lost in the event of a mass merging. The upside is that we now have a searchable archive of total winnings data.
2) I removed the moderator data from each board on the index. The global moderators and myself keep watch over every board, so the outdated lists were no longer necessary.
3) The Auditions board is now a sub-board of the Fan Games board. The auditioning procedure, however, has not been changed.
4) The host discussion category was deleted, and all host discussion boards are now a part of the Millionaire Discussion category.
I made lots of other small cosmetic changes, too. I reordered some of the boards and changed some descriptions as necessary. This is an ongoing process, and I am open to all feedback. Let me know what you think!
