I don't see the reason why he would be. He's doing a great job, at least imho. It's not his fault that the Australian producers are sticking with the crappy "Hot S**t" format and won't let people win money. However, it's been around for a long time now and nothing suggest that they'll change it back. Woo-hoo.

Yeah I agree with Adasiekkk. It's not Eddie's fault that the producers of the show decided to keep this terrible format. Actually whom ever came up with this format should get a concussion. Also, the producers of the Australian version should be sacked instead of the host or any other staff member. They're just doing their jobs.

I don't see what's wrong at the end of the extract you're mentioning. I think he does the job pretty well, especially because he tries to help the contestant because he may know she has the wrong answer. As for the break after the final answer, he only cues the ad break because he has been instructed by the producers via his host screen to do so! I agree with everyone here, it is the production who have to be caked, not the host, he is paid to do what the producer tells him to do, that's all. As for the format, the only formats that are good to me are the classic format and the US clock format, the others, including the UK clocked one pretty s*ck. Idolsfan  |

It means that if Eddie likes the contestant he gives a couple answers but if he does not like the contestant than he gives no help at all

By software design, it is impossible to give a player the correct answer until a final answer has been given, and I'm sure Eddie doesn't know every answer to every question off the top of his head. Furthermore, if he really had been giving out answers to select players, it would've been known a long time ago, and the integrity of that production would've been called into question by now.
