Just signed up to this board and wanted to say hello. I also just found out i made the contestant pool for this coming season so here's hoping I get notified of a taping date and soon.

Thanks Everyone. Good to see you Wolfman. Yes, my Wife Robyn was on the March 28th episode of WOF and I got to wave from the audience and (Spoiler alert) rush the stage at the end. We were joking that we wanted to make this the year of Game shows so we shall see. Ironically, i got the postcard from Millionaire the day we got back from the trip she won to Hawaii. Thanks for the well wishes and I'll keep everyone updated if I get the call.

Jerry Something I've always wondered....when you win a trip on Wheel, do they let you pick the dates or is it a "you go these dates or you don't go at all" kind of thing? If it's fixed dates, would they give you anything in place of the trip should the contestant not be able to go? |

So, the way it works is you cannot schedule your prize/trip until after the show airs but i think you have a year. Her show aired on 3/28 and we went last week. It seemed to be very flexible and for sure no fixed dates. You just have like a year time frame. If you turn down the trip then that's fine but you do not get anything for it. I understand some people do it to avoid taxes but we weren't going to turn it down. To be honest, they treated us like Gold. Round rip direct airfare from JFK to HNL and 6 nights at the Hyatt plus a comped meal, spending cash, upgrade to the club level and a Deluxe Ocean view room. It was pretty amazing.
