That's kinda how I felt as well. The US clock version has so much better music than the UK one, and I also feel that the US clock is better all around.

I prefer the UK version's practice of getting rid of the clock for the top five questions, the questions that most people tune in to see. One good thing about the clock is it hurries the contestants up to that portion of the game.
