One of the guys on Facebook asked why "The Hunger Games" are not one of the answers. The other responded that this is what the lifeline is used for - to reveal the real answer. Whether this is correct or not, I have no idea.

Wait, so this lifeline reveals the correct answer which is neither A, B, C nor D? Or does it show the right one among them? It doesn't sound very lifeline-y one way or the other. Well, I guess we have to wait and see.
And you guys thought the dancing was confusing...

There's no indication that the first episode will be a celebrity special. It's entirely possible they could have taped the episode(s) now, but plan to air later.

Came back from a taping of the show earlier today. First time attending a taping, and I enjoyed it very much. Cedric did a good job, in my opinion. He doesn't quite deliver as much suspense or fake-outs as Meredith (he would typically take a long [but not too long] pause when revealing correct answers), but he's new to the show, so that's obviously expected. He's still trying to find his own style that he can bring to the show.
And, I was able to pass the audition test! Hopefully they liked my performance in front of the camcorder and allow me to be in the contestant pool. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations on passing the audition test!
Did you notice any changes to the show? In terms of set, graphics, music or gameplay.

Everything seemed to remain the same in terms of gameplay, set, etc. I did notice however, that when a contestant lost in Round 1, Cedric didn't mention the $1,000. Also, I noticed on Cedric's game board underneath the contestant's walk away value was a red "X" and next to it $0, which I assume means that if a contestant gets an answer wrong, they now leave with nothing, but that's just what I interpreted. I could (hopefully) be completely wrong.

Congrats on passing the test. All Gameplay is the same and the contestant leaves with a minimum of 1,000 like before. Studio Set is the same or similar too and IMHO, I really liked Cedric as a host for what I saw. |
