Hoo boy, if you thought the class wasn't there with the Shuffle format, it sure as heck won't be found here, unfortunately. This reconfirms my thoughts of me doubting BAM's future on air in two years time.
/shouldn't America's richest game show be a tag line for MSQ?

I don't really see what the fuss is about. It's a promo. I don't know what it's like in the US, but here most commercials have exactly nothing to do with the products they advertise. This promo doesn't say anything about Cedric or what Millionaire's gonna be like next season. The Shuffle format's been here for two seasons and ratings didn't plummet. I completely agree about the drama factor or the lack thereof, but Meredith still made it enjoyable for me. When she first became host, she was on The View. If that had been any indicator for her capacities as a game show host, Millionaire would be long dead. I'll give Cedric a chance, because he could well be a great host.
If they introduce a Samba-lifeline where contestants can dance away incorrect answers, I'll gladly join the protests.

I agree with everybody -- it's a Millionaire unworthy promo.
What I do like, though, is the samba version of the Millionaire theme.
