"Who Wants to be a" seems to be in a different font as well. They really have no idea how awful this all looks. Oops! Forgot to mention that... Anyways, I have something else to show you: This is the same logo as the first one in my earlier post, just without the M-Net incorporation. It appears they are having a bit of trouble centering the "O" here... And let's not forget USA now: Even though it was only used for merchandise, I would expect for the logo to look a little bit more like the original because this does not resemble the WWTBAM logo in the slightest.

Since the Netherlands was the first to have their own version of Millionaire, the restrictions and rules of the logo that we have now were probably not in place yet. Now that they are, all international versions have logos that look alike, which is the way it's supposed to be. Along with the Endemol-style logo, I like the original Australian and Polish logo (the one used on the show's titles, not on the fan-made PC game), however when I first saw this... static1.money.pl/i/msp/znaki_towarowe/69/408834...I had a hard time believing it was Milionerzy's actual logo. By the way, here's an old Swiss intro: www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2JTJyN6bu4EDIT: To prevent double-posting, I'll say it on this post. Australia kinda bent the rules with their golden coin logo. After the 11-question format was replaced with the 15-question format, they still kept the logo until 2002/2003. Australia actually moved to the UK style logo in 2000 as evidenced by and a video that should be suggested by YouTube from that video.

I've been meaning to correct myself about this for a while, don't know why I didn't... Definitely a fault on my behalf; I saw some videos of WWTBAM Australia from 2002 and, for some reason, assumed that the yellow/black lifeline icons meant that the "gold coin" logo was still being used. My apologies.

Is there some kind of rule or clause that forced everyone to use the same Logo style? I ask because in comparison to Wheel of Fortune, those logos are varied between the different internationals.

max788Thank you, but I think I already posted that... retchedGood question, and I think the answer is yes. I believe that having the same logo in all countries is part of the branding rules.

Here in greece ,the first version debuted in October 1999 on Mega channel The first logo was this: It was used until June 2000 In September 2000 when the 2nd season began, the logo changed to that: It resembles the British version logo.It was used until December 2001.From January 2002(when the currency changed from Drachmes to Euros) the Pound and Dollar symbols were replaced by the Euro symbol and the logo became like that: linkIt was used by mega channel until Summer 2002 and from November 2002 when the show was picked up by ERT,the same logo was used.In the summer of 2004 the show ended. In April 2006,Alpha tv picked up the rights and produced a brand new series of episodes. The new logo had slightly different colors: The show ran on Alpha tv until July 2006.It was the last season of the classic format. The show returned on Hot Seat format on Skai tv in October 2014,and it continues to be broadcasted until today. The Hot seat logo is exactly the same with the Australian version, with the Euro symbol instead of the Dollar: link
