Greetings, fellow board readers and contributors. I feel it is my time to audition, after following the forum rules regarding auditions: It's been 20 posts, which is my personal minimum, or somewhere between there and 50, which I qualify for, as well as the 30 day rule. Barely so, but it is indeed 30 days, and I've far from made a bunch of worthless one liners during my current stay.
Secondly, that most of my posts have been constructive. I realize many of my threads may have come in the RPG 9 thread, and that is simply because I was fortunate enough to get a stack that generally favored my areas of strength. That irrelevance aside, however, I feel my contributions, most of all my list of million dollar walkaway players list, which included all questions, backgrounds, and follow-up facts, should serve me well in this sense (that post took at least 5, in all probability 10, hours to construct!). In addition, as mentioned in my introduction, I moderate at the site Golden-Road.net, and I own Buy a Vowel Boards, much like RegisFan does with this fine board. I have been trusted enough at both sites to gain a solid following, a trust, of sorts, that I would not receive without just cause, just reason.
Sadly, I am no game creator, I haven't the drive for it at the moment. Though I feel I could make one in Powerpoint, if I really wanted, but alas, this is not the case as of now. Besides, I'm more the type to play the games more, test them, and give my impressions. Even beyond that, I like to contribute to game show forums like this one, first and foremost. Given this self-set objective, what reason would I have to leave if I should join the fan games? The simple answer is there is no reason for me to leave, there is history to be recorded, trends noticed, and so on throughout the history of the show. Additionally, despite my mixed feelings on Cedric (if you like him more than I, I entirely respect that, and that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it), there is nearly a whole season of episodes to discuss, from questions, to hosting, and so on.
If you give a no, thank you for your response, nonetheless. I'd like to know how to improve, if such is the case, though I shall improve regardless. After all, the day we stop trying to get better is the first day we begin our decline, and begin to worsen; at least, I believe so.
If yes, I'd like to know why as well, so that incoming members know exactly what to do to gain access to this section, which I think benefits the site long term.
I hope to see you around the forum, no matter where we may meet, or what the reason. We have much to learn from one another, from agreements, certainly, but even more so from our disagreements. Thank you for reading this rather long audition, and I appreciate your response, regardless if it is affirmative or negative.
