From the screenshots alone, this looks *really* epic. I've always wondered how Millionaire would fare in a non-circular setting.
The video makes me want to attempt this with my own set.

12 - 1 crore
11 - 50,00,000
10 - 25,00,000
9 - 12,50,000
8 - 6,40,000
7 - 3,20,000
6 - 1,60,000
5 - 80,000
4 - 40,000
3 - 20,000
2 - 10,000
1 - 5,000
- Fastest Finger First is now a three-question cumulative effort.
- New lifeline, "joker", acts as an extra lifeline of the contestant's choice.

Good lord, CBC must be successful if they change the set, graphics, music all the time. I like the studio per se, it's very 2013, but it doesn't have that classic Millionaire look. I'm not too psyched about the money tree, either. Unless Indian contestants are as kamikaze as Japanese ones, I don't think many will get past 1,00,00,000. As always, the best thing is to wait and see. I'm looking forward to seeing it all in action.

@gsk: mostly it was meant as surprise but seeing it be used, I am actually kind of impressed. I wonder if this set will be used in other countries.

This is a very nice set and I honestly think that it looks better than most sets these days. And the money tree is also quite unique.... unique in the way it looks some what unbalanced.

I really, really like this set. Most radical departures from the classic design don't work too well, but this design looks fantastic.

Sincerely... I'm not very attracted to the studio... Why ? Because I think it "breaks" the show... I feel to be back in "Power of 10", this is almost the same sets... I prefer this one :   I prefer this studio that we have in France since 2010  1 month ago (August, 28) I was on the audience (these photos were taken this day). For the first time, I was sit in THIS studio, sit in the audience of my favourite gameshow.  That was a nice experience, and I think that I will be return for the next recording... |

Wow, I know TV studios have a tendency to be a lot smaller in person than they appear on TV, but those photos make it look even smaller. Nice to see at least one place in the world still maintains a classic set look.

Has the music set changed? The music is a bit of a mish-mash of Classic Millionaire, Rave Millionaire and original Indian music, with very little rhyme or reason. |
