Terrible Spanglish, I know. As a longtime fan of Millionaire, I would love to gain access to the Fan Games forum. I'm no game creator, and I'm no graphical genius, I'd just love to have access to all of the fan games and the like. I'm always looking for new challenge, and when you've seen the questions in every other game about a thousand times, they just aren't a challenge anymore. As I said in my intro thread, a lot of you probably already know me. Prizes and woffan2008, among others, know me as one of the leaders over at Buy a Vowel Boards. Additionally, I am a moderator and host the CSS game over at Golden-Road. I think these alone establish me as a trustworthy person. As for Millionaire, I've hosted chatroom versions of both the regular show and Super Millionaire numerous times in the past (of which were known for very few people getting past what was dubbed The Dreaded Tenth Question), and have always found it a very easy game to pick up and play wherever you are. I have nothing but respect for people's intellectual property rights, and would do nothing- ever- to compromise those. For example, if any of your content from the Fan Games forum showed up on my site, I would see to it that it was quickly removed and the person responsible dealt with accordingly. It took me a while to get to this point, but there's a reason...I wasn't going to make twenty crap posts to get here. Quality before quantity, I always say. Someone with twenty quality posts is far more respected than someone with a hundred crap posts, don't you agree? I hope you all will consider me, and hope to see you around a lot more. If it's a no, thank you for your time.

Besides a good friend, and his history elsewhere, I'd say, and will say, YES. It might not be as apparent here, but check out his work on Golden-Road.net or BAV if you're unsure of his background, history, etc. I can assure you that you want him in there. I'm choosy about my friends, and cu has proven time and time again for me to be trustworthy, intelligent, and innovative, on many facets, from humor to trustworthiness.
Don't rush into no on him...he's absolutely proven worth elsewhere, as well as here.
YES.

The amount of trust other members, and especially the moderators and administrators, have put in both of you on this forum speaks volumes alone. I don't think I've ever seen that happen here before.
It's a yes from me.

Yes! Whatever anyone does, do NOT let this man write questions. You will blow all your lifelines on the 1st one

It's always a pleasure to have a buy a vowel board member to have access to the Fan Games, yes from me.

No.
My apologies, but who are you? I've never seen you before apart from in the RPG thread. We can't let just anyone join the group and I think you need to prove yourself of being a member and a big fan of millionaire before auditioning. Regardless if whether you're friends with someone or not, you've only been here for about one/two months according to your profile and I barely know you. It's almost as if you hung around long enough just to meet the requirements. Stick around some more.
The bottom line is, you might be a great member on another board, but the Audition is based on how your activity is on this board, and your activity on another forum doesn't really matter here. Perhaps I'm coming off abrasive but from my perspective, it's unfair that one person says yes, followed by a chain of yes' from other people. My personal view is that I've yet to meet you and you've only really been active in the RPG threads.
You could post in other threads, post some of your own work in Creativity and stay around for longer. This forum isn't the Buy A Vowel boards; this is a completely separate board. And it should be fair that a member is assessed on their activity on this one board only; not on other websites.

No intentions of dispute, and this is in a general sense of the context: Would we let someone have access who has a bad reputation elsewhere, but a good one here? I sure wouldn't, and I hope the rest of us would follow suit, in saying no to such a member.
For what it's worth though, I do agree with the principle-good elsewhere, needs to be proven here, as well, given the unique nature of this board. Well said.
(My apologies if this comes off as backseat modding; I wanted it only as an interesting point regarding auditions, and how we treat applications in the future.)

I have to say NO, because hm, this is the first time I see your post. I agree with derpysand (sandsrules). You have to prove that you deserve to have access for that section. I am sorry

I also don't like the rule where as soon as 1 person says no, you lose. Think about an election where it is you vs one other person. Let's say 10,000 people voted. If you get 9,999 votes, but 1 person voted against you, does that mean you lose the election?

Take a look at Millichris's audition, he got 11 yes's before 1 no. Do I think it's fair that 1 member wrecks it all for 11? Not at all. In the end on this forum though what it comes down to is trustworthy ness. If someone find a member untrustworthy then it's going to be pointed out. I'm sure there will be no hard feelings, therealcu can always keep contributing and audition again sometime.

"wrecks it all" I'm sorry if I'm protective over something that houses private copyrighted content that can be exploited, as well as hard work. Perhaps we should let a lot of people in, that way it would give a reminder to those that have forgotten that there are people that can't be trusted. I don't see why there are people that already have access to the Fan Games Section complaining about the application to the group when they know their position is already secured. We want to be safe than sorry, and only those that are proven to be the best and the most trustworthy members should be allowed. Furthermore, I've noticed from my end that there are people saying yes just to conform with the majority and quite frankly it's annoying, because when someone like me comes along and sees the entire picture and doesn't go along with the crowd, you guys make out like whoever says no jeopardized the members integrity. And it just so happens with millichrises audition that I too agree with the no given there. With each no I personally give, I always give a good, reasonable description, and as far as I, the staff and the audition rules are concerned, if you can provide a good enough reason as to why someone shouldn't be let in, it's settled. It's not up for discussion. Sorry for going off the topic of your audition therealcu2010 but it seems that just because one member has asked a question, members are suddenly criticizing the audition process which has been going on for years now.

No, sandsrules, you got to do what you got to do. Just so you know, I don't just vote with the majority, I look clearly into what I have seen with that member, It just turns there's something you see that I don't. That's all. Man I feel like auditions have really messed with my head recently, I don't understand it.

there are people that can't be trusted. No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, there will ALWAYS be someone who will come along and leak something outside of Fan Games (even government agencies have leaks!). Any incidents that happened in the past (ie. FinalAnswer19's music) was because of members distributing the password to non-members when FG was still "protected" the old way. Ever since the upgrade to the new system there hasn't been any other disruptions that have happened. With each no I personally give, I always give a good, reasonable description, and as far as I, the staff and the audition rules are concerned, if you can provide a good enough reason as to why someone shouldn't be let in, it's settled. It's not up for discussion. So I guess everyone else's opinion doesn't matter except for yours? Prizes gave a VERY valid reason, but according to you it doesn't matter. Let's take this moment to analyze both yours and Prizes responses: Prizes: "Besides a good friend, and his history elsewhere, I'd say, and will say, YES. It might not be as apparent here, but check out his work on Golden-Road.net or BAV if you're unsure of his background, history, etc. (which people should ALWAYS do). I can assure you that you want him in there. I'm choosy about my friends, and cu has proven time and time again for me to be trustworthy, intelligent, and innovative, on many facets, from humor to trustworthiness. (He knows cu the most out of everyone here, so you know that whatever he says about him is valid) Don't rush into no on him...he's absolutely proven worth elsewhere, as well as here. (Prizes: "Would we let someone have access who has a bad reputation elsewhere, but a good one here? I sure wouldn't,")" sandsrules: "No. My apologies, but who are you? (First off, RUDE. Even if you did apologize, you still could have worded that differently. Secondly, what did you expect? To sit down with the guy and have coffee? I don't know anything about anybody on here [not even BAV members] and I still trust them. This is Millionaire Fans, not Facebook. Unless you expect an autobiography, you'll have to judge based on what you have, not what you don't.)I've never seen you before apart from in the RPG thread. (Fair enough)The bottom line is, you might be a great member on another board, but the Audition is based on how your activity is on this board, and your activity on another forum doesn't really matter here (Again, Prizes' quote: "Would we let someone have access who has a bad reputation elsewhere, but a good one here? I sure wouldn't,"). And it should be fair that a member is assessed on their activity on this one board only; not on other websites." (Refer to my last comment)
Bottom line, I respect that you have given your input, but don't go around and start attacking everyone else and their opinions/reason. That's why people aren't too fond of your response. It has nothing to do with the fact that you said No.

Maybe this should of been a PM and not trying to back seat moderate, however: @woffan2008 is absolutely right. sand.rules, you going and attacking other members opinions is absolutely unacceptable. That fact that you quoted wrecks it all is doing just that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion just like you are but don't go around and attacking members opinions because it will get members pretty mad. No offense but you have been the first to reject several auditions recently and all of them you were very rude. I'm sure other members are sick and tired of seeing that. Adasiekk may of rejected an audition but he was nice about it. This part of the public conversation is over but were going to get to the bottom of this.
