Today, Debmar-Mercury and FremantleMedia announced that they are shopping around "Celebrity Name Game," hosted by Craig Ferguson, for a debut in syndication next fall.
Why am I so excited, you ask? For those who recall, I've named Craig Ferguson several times as the person I'd most like to see hosting Millionaire. I'm really looking forward to seeing how he handles hosting duties on this series. And for those of you who are unfamiliar with Ferguson, at least you can take satisfaction that a brand new game show is hitting airwaves next fall. We've seen far too few game shows succeed in syndication in recent years, so let's hope we have a hit on our hands.

Sweet. More Game Shows always sound good to me and I saw Craig do Stand Up once and he was great live.

Please do not revive dead threads. This thread has been dead for over two months.

Ok so for my knowledge, How long is considered too long or at what point is a topic considered "dead"? This is the strictest Message Board I have ever been on so I am just trying to figure out what is proper.
Thanks and sorry about that.

There's no set rule on when a thread "dies" but a thread in which nobody has posted in for over 2 months is certainly dead.
A good rule of thumb to go by is a month.
If a thread is dead and you have relevant information to add, by all means, go for it, that's no problem. The reason we're so strict on this is because members will frequently revive dead threads so as to raise their post count so they can audition for Fan Games access.
