Hello, all! I have finally gained the courage to go for an audition. I have been a huge "Millionaire" fan since I was about 10, and would host games with my friends at school. I eventually branched out and started hosting an online "Millionaire Interactive" using sounds and Photoshop graphics-turned YouTube videos. After GSN Buzz forums shut down, I took the initiative to make my own ProBoards site for my game and also found this wonderful community here. Now I am a college student that still hosts "Millionaire" with my friends from time-to-time. I am an instrumental composer and self-taught "DJ" and I have begun manipulating and recreating game show soundboards. I have done a few PowerPoints, but lost them when my old computer crashed. So I've recently started over on those. Here are my soundboards that I'll use for my audition sample: Classic (missing a few lifeline cues) - www.mediafire.com/download/pzii9fup2lr4q5j/Millionaire+Remix%282%29.zipShuffle (missing a lot, started it 2 days ago...will update as more cues are made) - www.mediafire.com/?jlo2j4crz63db6dRound 1 Questions: www.mediafire.com/download/g72ckaxq97mscu9/Round+1+Questions.zipI lost the files for my Rave format...so I'm starting over on those. Some of them are still on my YouTube account. Thank you! *Edit: Round 1 Questions added.

Wow, I really like your mixes! It's a bit different from the sounds we are used to know, but I love the kind of 'techno' feeling that it's giving me. As a lover of all Millionaire music I think you definitely deserve a spot in de Fan Games section. It's A YES from me

Oh hai millionairefan1,
I've had a look at your YouTube account and I have a few... hmm... issues? Problems? Not sure how to call them. Basically, same as with millichris' past audition, you seem to have posted a lot of original WWTBAM cues (Clock, Rave etc.) without any form of protection, voice overlay or whatever.
Until this is fixed, it's a no from me. I couldn't possibly allow anybody into the Fan Games section if I have any sort of an indication that this person could potentially distribute the contents of it to the public. I hope you agree that this is fair enough, as the key idea to the Fan Games section is that this stuff does not leak out.
Thanks, Adam

millionairefan1, You have posted some emotion-filled shouts in the shoutbox today. Let me quote you, "Since I'm not even allowed to explain my point, since I have some of the sound effects "unprotected" on my YouTube account (as many other users here do) I am done with this site. I have so much potential and so much I want to share and can't because of such a minuscule thing? I am done here. I'm deleting my materials that I have shared here and then my account. I will continue to host my games on my website and write my own sounds." Music has been a very big issue in the Millionaire community for years. It's one of the most recognizable themes in the world. There have been issues with it getting distributed to individuals who should not have it. It's used illegally, it's sold, etc. When the composer distributed the music to fans (something he no longer does because people have abused it), he made it very clear that only trusted individuals should have it. He didn't want it showing up on everybody's site. It's difficult to keep track of that but the best way we've been able to come up with is the fan games section. It's worked (in most cases) very well at protecting official music. Then comes the issue of graphics. Some members make their own graphics (which, at times, are better than official graphics), and sometimes a member stumbles upon the official graphics from a connection at the show. Same goes for a bunch of other things in there that I'm not going to mention. There are some really, really rare items in there some people would do anything to have their hands on (including some themes from other game shows that people have come across..once again, sometimes from employees of the respective shows) so we had to come up with a way to protect them as much as possible. I believe the fan games is more secure now than ever now that we can control who does and who doesn't have access. The worries of a member giving the password to another member who hasn't passed an audition are a thing of the past. That is why you received a negative vote on your audition. That says nothing about you as a person, member of the community, etc. It just says that you didn't pass your audition this time around. Adasiekkk didn't just say "No, you're not trustworthy," instead, he said why he thought you should not have access. Take his response as constructive criticism, change what he said needs to be changed, and try again. This thread will unlock for a little while for you to explain your side of the case. RegisFan and I have both posted responses to the audition process over here.

I have weighed in on this issue in this thread. I have temporarily unlocked this thread for discussion, but Adasiekkk's "no" vote will remain binding because his reasoning is quite valid.

You are all right, and I completely jumped the gun. I shouldn't be using the soundboards without commentating the game. I will use voice-overs or my own music from this point on.
And I assure you, I have not been distributing the official sound effects. Only the ones that I personally have made, and I only had my download links on this board.
As a musician and composer myself, I should've taken this into better consideration.
I am truly sorry.

My concern now is that we've seen what happens when something doesn't go your way. You overreact. What's going to happen if we let you into the Fan Games section, and you wind up on the wrong end of a dispute in there? Are you going to fly off the handle again and cause an incident? Or worse, put the material at risk? It's easy for you to say you won't and that you're sorry, but you've already tipped your hand.
It's a no from me, and you're going to have to work VERY hard for me to change that vote in the future. This is not meant as hostility from me, simply a statement of what your mandate is now. Rise to the challenge and prove me wrong.
