In the middle of Round 1 there is a safe level, after you answer the 4th question correctly you are guaranteed that money you banked up to that point. I think it was originally a blood pressure med...I would've remembered asking about it around 95, 96. 1997 seems off to me, and I remember it popping up more and more around 1999, 2000. So, with that, I'll make D, 1998, my final answer. This question REALLY needed the category "Rising to the Occasion". EDIT: Just noticed your "here's a hard one[.]" Bahaha, surely not intentional; but still funny.

My other language might be another romantic language, French, but reasoning says that A, C, D don't make sense as one word translations. After all, DoND typically maintains its meaning elsewhere, MD(M)D likewise (or as Million Dollar Drop, as the UK calls theirs), and while I'm likely wrong on this end, I've never heard of foreign LMaD show, though quite a few south of the US border resemble it, in the fun party atmosphere. Given how foreign languages work, I can't see that being a one word phrase, with 'us' of 'Let's' and the predicate, a deal. That's a whole phrase! That leaves, Jeopardy, and it is one word, and likewise translatable to what should be B. B, Jeopardy, final.
