Until 2007, the German WWTBAM version "Wer wird Millionär" aired three times a week. It was possible to watch Millionaire on mondays, fridays and saturdays in prime time. In 2007, the channel RTL cancelled the airing time on saturday.
Now, it seems like the airing time on fridays is cancelled as well. During the past, it sometimes happened that some Millionaire episodes were cancelled due to other programmes. However, this bad thing has increased during the last weeks.
A few days ago, it was announced that Wer wird Millionär will no longer air on fridays because some other shows (including the German version of "Dancing with the stars") will air in prime time until the summer break.
I really hope that Millionaire will return on fridays after the summer break. Otherwise, this would be quite a bad sign. I would detest it, if this was an insidious cancellation of this great show.
What are your thoughts on this?
