I had been watching the original version of Millionaire for all 10 years now and I think it's gone a bit downhill (and it's all my fault - see here!) ... When I was young I remember watching the original version, all 15 questions, all 3 lifelines (with the occasional 'Flip' lifeline). I even remember seeing Judith Keppel, Robert Brydges and Ingram Wilcox win the million! But what have we got now? 12 questions. Quite lopsided (as Regisfan stated), but all three lifelines are still there. But the rest went down the drain, which is well sad! Worse, all the other countries still have the 15 questions, even a Switch lifeline! I think Millionaire should go back to how it was in the old days!

I would be quite upset if the U.S. version went the way of the U.K. version. All of the changes for the 2008 season of the U.S. version of Millionaire were fantastic, and added to the experience. Meanwhile, you guys in the U.K. got an odd money tree and weird techno music. It really isn't fair. It would be really ironic, though, if all of the changes really were due to your email, FrankT. Or at least partfly fueled by them. You've made a monster!

Now you mention it, I wonder what would've happened had the USA imported England's changes? It'd be bad news, I know, but still, I wonder what would go on... perhaps I'll write something about it soon..

However... it is nice to know that SOME people appreciate this new format!
