Hi everyone. I know that everyone is talking about the new host of Millionaire, but there's more to discover. There are new game shows coming this fall, and I think they're going to be good.
1. Let's Ask America
This show isn't actually new. Let's Ask America was launched in 2012 on Scripps-owned stations across the country (i.e. KNXV Arizona, KGTV San Diego, KMGH Denver (most of the stations are ABC stations)). Kevin Pereira hosted this Q&A show where you can win up $50,000 just from the comfort of your own home. For the '14-'15 season, the show will be airing in National Syndication with a new host (comedian Bill Bellamy). The show will also be switching distributors from Warner Bros. to MGM.
2. Celebrity Name Game
David Arquette and Courtney Cox (from the hit sitcom Friends, now a married couple) produced this new show based on the board game Identity Crisis. This was originally supposed to be an hour-long primetime show on CBS. In October 2013, it was announced that the show will be syndicated by Debmar-Mercury and FremantleMedia. The show will premiere in September and will be paired with Family Feud (which will possibly make the new show popular). Two teams of two (a contestant and a celebrity) will compete to identify celebrities and fictional characters. The winning team will have the chance to win up to $25,000. Arquette and Cox will also be making guest appearances on the show.
3.Idiot Test (or Idiotest)
Ben Gleib will be hosting this new show. Two teams with prexisting rivalries will compete to see who are the true "idiots". The show will premiere August 12 on GSN.
Well, these are the new game shows coming soon. I hope everyone will love these new game shows. I think I'm liking the Celebrity Name Game already.
