There's a great article on The Wire this week about the lasting legacy of WWTBAM. As we come up on the fifteenth anniversary of its debut, it's great to see the show celebrated and recognized for the impact it had on the television landscape. Give it a read if you have a moment!

So will there be any 15th anniversary celebrations?

It's very unlikely. I'm so glad that we got the 10th Anniversary Celebration on ABC in 2009. The final scene with Regis and Meredith was just about the best finale that primetime Millionaire could ever have had.

"He would recite all possible questions for a group of lawyers and "security people," ensuring he gave no hints to the answers (despite not knowing the answers in advance)."
Does anyone know more about this process?

"He would recite all possible questions for a group of lawyers and "security people," ensuring he gave no hints to the answers (despite not knowing the answers in advance)." Does anyone know more about this process? I believe that's to make sure the host pronounces everything correctly so that contestants couldn't come and say, "I gave a wrong answer because they didn't say it right." I remember an interview with meredith where she said that if anyone in the room were to accidentally reveal the answer the question had to be removed from the stack.

Who is your favourite millionaire? Mine is either Bob-o Essig from Super Millionaire or Nancy Christie for being the first woman to win on syndication! :-)
