Wow, I didn't expect the format to return to Spain this quickly after "El Millonario", which I found tedious to watch. It's gonna be interesting to see how the format works differently in another country, in terms of dynamics, candidates' willingness to risk, etc. Where did you get that information, btw? I couldn't find anything when I tried to Google it. Is there an article somewhere? I have a friend that works in Antena 3, which works in several shows of the channel, the selling was done an hour ago, and when he found out, he inmediately told me.

Wow, not bad. Is it going to be a daytime show or a primetime show?

Wow, not bad. Is it going to be a daytime show or a primetime show? The thing that Antena 3 does is, first, air it in primetime, and if the show goes well, air it a couple months later in daytime.

abstractwb So it's going to be the same procedure as for "Atrapa un millón"? Well, I hope, they keep the €1,000,000 as a top prize, I don't want to see it reduced to €100,000, as it was the case for their "Hot Seat" format.

But first, when they are ready to tape the shows, they air a commercial saying like: "Do you want to win a very, very big prize? Then call <phone number> or enter in antena3.com to audition." The commercials of that type NEVER say what gameshow is. When they have enough episodes ready to air, a couple months later they announce the show.

That's... interesting, to say the least... do you know when could it possibly air? Because, right now, I believe that Antena 3 has got its Primetime quite well-structured... and with this new Primetime comedy-like show premiering this Friday... I think that there's much reprogramming to do to fit WWTBAM... I think that it would be easier if it aired in the "game show slot" (18:30-21:00)

But if I need to predict... eh... I think Summer 2015 would be a great time.

Sorry for double-posting, but this has to be known. Somehow, Antena 3 cancelled the airings of WWTBAM. But they still have the rights.

And I guess that's the reason why the Hot Seat version had to be slightly renamed ("Quién quiere ser EL millonario", instead of "Quién quiere ser millonario"), because the rights to the name were property of Antena 3/Martingala (the production company that made WWTBAM in its Antena 3 years). Also, I suspect that Antena 3 might have unaired episodes of both Sobera's last season (2008) and Garrido's only season (2009), because of low ratings (which, in Garrido's case, I find it really considerate... never liked his hosting style).

Spain should never EVER air the 12-question format. I would like to see it like in Germany, with an extra lifeline, but with 16 questions and only one milestone (like kimarough 's current RPG).

But Spain did have the 12-question-format with Garrido, didn't they? And, I don't think, that Germany should introduce the 12-question-format. They should stick to the classic money tree, which they have now. They play with an additional lifeline, which you get by disclaiming the second milestone. abstractwb
