The last game, in which Frank won a million dollars was fantastic! I propose to do next game, after the 3rd game with US syndicated rules. If you want to be a question maker or contestant, just write here. I will be the host, OK?
Greetings, winnux8

Err, winnux? I think we already decided on RPG 3, in which the brand new US rules will be used, but it'll be back to normal in the next one. Actually, why don't we call the next one RPG 2.5!

Well, since we already agreed on RPG 3 being a version of the US syndicated game (including the new rules) with the same players as the last game, we'll stick to what we already said. Then, when that one is over, we'll come back and play this RPG.
But first we have to decide just how we'll pull off the timer in our internet RPG. I have two ideas:
1) We set time limits using real time, meaning the player has a set number of hours to answer the question 2) We have the player make a post as soon as they are finished reading the question, and then make another post containing their answer, and look at the time stamps on the post to make sure the question was answered in the time limit
What do you guys think?

Very good idea.
And, of course, I can change this topic to RPG 4 Sign-up!

I don't know - last time it was like, I post something, and then it takes about half a day before I can read your reply, and by then it might be too late...

May I add a suggested time limit?
1) Contestant has 15 hours from time question is posted to answer for questions 1-5.
2) Contestant has 20 hours from time question is posted to answer for questions 6-10.
3) Contestant has 24 hours from time question is posted to answer for questions 11-14.
4) Contestant has 24 hours, plus the length of time contestant took between each answer from time question is posted to answer question 15. (I will make a time log of how far apart each answer came. Then I'll add those hours together and say after question 15 is posted, something like "You have 42 hours to answer this question"

Like I say, it'll be too late for me to read the question in time like that.

What if we combined the two ideas into one:
The contestant reads the question and makes a preliminary post, sans answer, to start the clock. The contestant then has either 15, 30, 45, or 45+ hours to answer the question.

Err, actually I was thinking of making it like this: 1. 1.5 days to answer 2. 3 days to answer 3. 4.5 days to answer 4. 4.5 days plus unused time from previous questions
Maybe then I'll get a better chance at winning!

Well, there's no use in playing a game that the contestant has no chance of winning, is there? I'm fine with your rules, FrankT. What does everyone else think?

And the "computer" player will keep the time, correct? As well as be the "expert"?

Then I guess we'll get started, then. Since we're timing this one, we should probably pick a start date.
