Hmmmm It is very different to the UK Edition, We use Red Boxes and has a generally bland wooden and brick studio apart from the occasional orange lights on the wall and with a large screen presented by Noel Edmonds. I like the french version! Apportez-le ici s'il vous plaît!

I see a lot of French game shows have €100,000 as the top prize. Is it because other game shows can't afford the wins? One show I use to watch subtitled 'Volte Face' or 'Trust' in English speaking places, had the 100,000 prize so ludicrously out of reach that I wonder why advertise a prize like that if it is near impossible to win.

Yeah, actually I think that's because of two reasons. First, D8 which's a TNT channel (TNT is the name DVB-T Channel for U.S Comparaison which means Terrestrial Numeric TV) can't afford too much money as TF1 ("French TV 1" the oldest TV channel in France) or France Television group channels (France 2,France 3 etc... The group is a public service) because those two are very old and are the most viewed channels in France. So the TV audiences of the TNT channels, 19 in total (without the 6 firsts historic channels) are pretty low because of the large amount of available channels and because the historic channels are well much more implanted. For shows on those channels, if the top prize is low it's generally because the channel wants to see if it's worth it. I mean they wait and see if the show works and if it have good tv audiences. Millionaire was an exception because when it came in France in 2000, it was not in a financial crisis context. And since that, much shows can't afford big money values like before, and worse, if the TV audiences are bad. That's sad but maybe next season DOND will have a better top prize because the TV audiences are pretty good, better than TWL if I'm not wrong. That was long but I'm finished

Hope that in 3 years, the french DoND has 9 top prize winners like here on Spain! (Yes, here in Spain we had 9 people that won the 300.000€ )
