*it's the copy of readme.txt in my archive, download link at the end* One thing: I'm not a programmer, I just installed Visual Studio 2003 and modified source code by deduction. == Contents == 1. System requirments 2. Changes 3. Controls 4. Known bugs System requirments ================== 128MB RAM, Windows 2000 (on Windows 98 it's this), no idea what processor Changes ======= - It's WWTBAM, not WWTBASM - deleted Double Dip and Three Wise Men lifelines, "super" in logo and when You win, money tree is always the same with top prize of $1 million, changed music in menu and $100-$1000 questions, sound of winning a million. - Removed dam.txt and tpm.txt - money tree is now in code. It was necessary because of space in $1 MILLION. - Sounds are now in sound directory - game is 8.3 compatible. - Changed logo colors - the light green ?$ are much darker. - Corrected Fastest Finger First - music in showing correct order, sound when the list of players is shown - music is in mp3, I don't have loseless version of this. - Let's play sound before $100 question. - Sound when disconnect before end of time in Phone-a-friend - in mp3. Controls ======== 1-n in menu - start with question number n A/1, B/2, C/3, D/4 - answers 5/% - 50:50 6/P - Phone-a-friend 7/U - Ask the Audience S/RMB - walk away Known bugs ========== Almost all of them are shared with WWTBASM. - You can select another lifeline when audience vote - Questions may be only in ASCII - even pound wouldn't display - Logo is awful, but less than original - Crash when out of question sets - Straight lines are too thin in Windows 2000: - There isn't any question editor - lets play.wav may be heard when You skip sound when the list of players is shown - Regis screen... Maybe I'll manage to get this: Download from here. In next version: fix last bug by merging two sounds, Unicode support. When: I've no ******* idea ;-;

You should bring back the dam.txt and tpm.txt files for when you have solved the ASCII problem, as i'd like to do with it a spanish version (in € and questions in spanish).

1. Even with that files, safe havens are in code (on Source Forge version too), so with Regis version You still have to modify source. 2. Logo is in English. 3. I don't know how to solve the problem, I'll test with newer VS versions. 3. When the problem is solved, I'll do Polish version and others if I have text for Phone-a-friend, (in)correct for $something and "Stop! What would you guess?". One archive will be data and sound directory, second - question, ff and exes for each language.

Do You have WinRAR 5 or older? Because it's RAR5 archive.

It's WinRAR 3.71, that's why it doesn't work... I must upgrade it...

(in € and questions in spanish). Making it any other currency than $ will just result in a blank space or no symbol at all. I have tried and you can't even do it in questions either.

It's based on some version from here on forum with better sounds (doesn't it have to have a password? ), I only added sound when disconnecting if it's any time left. When I compiled in VS2005, pound was displayed as question mark. So strange. www.opengl.org/archives/resources/features/fontsurvey/ - I'm testing things from this, first will be WGL, Linux version isn't necessary if works on Wine.

Has Conduit ITC ever been created with Unicode support? I think not, because in Polish WWTBAM questions were written in (oh my) Arial. Copperplate Gothic Bold has $€£¥, but not diacritic letters, so I can't write for example "zł" ;-; Fonts will be probably in FTGL and it'll search for fonts/conduitc.ttf (not included), if it isn't, it'll use Arial. Copperplate will be included.

So I have the same version of this font - there is Ñ, but no €. It's also compatible with German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Danish, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Luxembourgian (I've never heard about it ._.) and Albanian.
