And to think that Herman's Head was a normal sitcom....it sounds so much more dirty when combined with the question. LOL

Certainly a peculiar question! $500,000 is alot of Money for Todd Kim, who lived in a basement... Ha Ha

It's a bit of a shame he blew his double dip and three wise men on this question, he might have ended up like Bob O. if he had saved them.... then again, I understand its alot better to be safe and take 500k than risk 400k trying to salvage lifelines.

I do happen to agree with you Mappy! If he had saved lifelines then there is probally no doubt that he would have became a millionaire like Essig and probally gone further. Howver there is certainly nothing wrong with $500K. I also think that it was a shame that no one got the Jaclpot of $10 Million, they certianly had enough lifelines but maybe they needed to simplify the questions?

Oh, they knew exactly what they were doing with the difficulty. It was going to take nothing short of a Ken Jennings- or Brad Rutter-type to make it all the way. And even then the gambles were too steep for any reasonable player. They had $10 million on offer, but no intention on paying it out. Their $500k winners and one $1m winner gave them the buzz they wanted.

You really can't complain with 500K. True, he did waste some of his lifelines but 500K instead of 1 mil is better than losing tons of money.

You are exactly right. $500,000 is a lot of money and many people would dream to earn that amount of money in their entire lifetime. To be honest, with the Super Millionaire run to be truly remembered as a phenominal contestant you would have to have won question fifteen for $10 Million. Because lets face it, Essig usually gets missed out with the Millionaire's list as he did have an easier time on the set. (However just for extra info, the 12 question format makes it quite a little easier and also Sam Murray really did have an easy job on the TOT.) Finally just remember that Todd Kim walked out with lots of cash, which he should use wisely. With that kind of money you can buy all sorts of Luxury items.
