Hello everyone
So after being involved here on the Millionaire boards for some time now, and getting to know several people on here, I have to say, I really do enjoy coming onto these forums and being a part of this community. I myself, have been a fan of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" ever since my parents started watching it in early 2000, and I easily got hooked onto the show itself as well.
Since I've gotten into Millionaire, I've been quite fascinated with game shows as a whole. I always tend to compare certain shows back to Millionaire and wonder exactly how I would judge it in terms of comparison. The main thing is though, Millionaire will probably always be my #1 favorite TV show that I genuinely like to feel like I'm a part of.
As some of you may or may not know, I am a big fan of Anime. I go to many conventions each year, dating all the way back to 2006. However, after seeing many different game shows being run at these conventions up until 2009, I decided that I wanted to see how I could do with presenting my own Anime style version of a game show, and that's when I thought back to Millionaire. I decided to make my own Powerpoint version of the game, and, with A LOT of trial and error, finally made it work out to the point that I was ready to make it come to life.
I caught my first break in April of 2010 when I finally got my chance to host my favorite game show at Anime Boston, and surprisingly, we had nearly a full room for my first ever presentation of an event of that matter:
Obviously, my first time running this show wasn't the greatest, but I have since improved quite a bit in terms of hosting the show. And on top of that, our audience has been growing too.
Here's an example of my Millionaire game being presented at Anime Boston last year in May of 2013, where we had a standing room only crowd!!!!
However, the best moment that ever happened on my show, was when we had our first, and to this date, our ONLY million dollar winner, from June of 2012:
But you wanna know what the best part about the Million dollar win was? As amazing as the feat was to witness, the contestant that won the million actually became a good friend of mine, and we actually went to Japan together this year!

That's not all, however. Because of the fact that I have now been VERY successful with my Millionaire games that I run at these conventions, I now have the Anime company "Funimation" as a sponsor of my panel! They have provided me with tons of great prizes for all the contestants, and they are truly awesome people to work with. On top of that, I have also had prizes provided to me by other Anime conventions as well, such as Animaine in Portland, Maine, where they provided me with free admission badges to give out as prizes too.
As I move forward with my version of the game show, I definitely look to hopefully see another million dollar winner some time in the future, and if/when that does happen, I hope it's one of the best experiences ever in terms of hosting an event. But overall, it has definitely been a long and fun ride over the last 5 years regardless.
I know I might be boring some of you with this post, but I am thankful for this game show being a part of my life, and I would like to be involved even more in this great community with the rest of you in the Fan Games section.
