Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone happens to know what font was used on the 1999 Wer wird Millionär/Lotto Weekend Miljonairs logo. (It was that orange one that was used from 1999 to 2000.) I'm making an imitation logo on Microsoft PowerPoint.
Thank you!

The closest would be Eurostile Extended (that I'm aware of)
Hope it helps!

Identifont says that Handel Gothic is the closest font to the one used in the first Dutch and German logo. Maybe you should try that one.

Well obviously the latest international franchise font is from the Copperplate font family, however I am unsure about the old logo from 1999. Perhaps you could use a font-finding service or just use the suggestions of either Handel Gothic or Eurostile... I agree with you that I have always wondered what font was used in the classic German Episodes!

Thank you so much for your help, friends. I think I'll just use a few characters from both Eurostile and Handel.
I've always been interested in that logo, especially the model of it in the studio. Does anyone have any information on those to share?

Unfortunately there are a lot of free fonts named after the Schwarzenegger film. I say unfortunately, because they are all taken straight (or in a different direction) from a commercial font called "Chinat" (yes, Chinat with a "T", not China. So please don't get confused.) However this is not available for purchase anymore (at least what I've experienced...)

@paolo16gula So does that mean that Terminator Cyr is not the correct font?

@paolo16gula So does that mean that Terminator Cyr is not the correct font? It is correct, but I think you don't get my original point: All of the characters (the style in "Terminator Cyr") are borrowed STRAIGHT FROM the commercially available font that I've mentioned in my previous post.
