SGCSam's Audition!

Hey Everyone,



First off, I hope you are all having a great new year so far!


I'm writing this post today in hope that I am given the chance to enter the Fan Games section of the Millionaire Fans Board.

Why do I want to enter? Well, being a developer myself, I know how good it is to receive feedback. I've heard about all the amazing creations people have very kindly shared in Fan Games and I believe I have the experience to help others with their creations by giving them the constructive criticism they need in the hope that their creations become that little bit better, and that gives me an immense feeling of satisfaction.

Now as I've stated previously, I'm a developer myself. Which is why I completely understand the feeling of anger associated with your work being stolen. There is nothing worse than spending months working on something and having someone just take it and leave, but even worse when someone claims it as their own. It's not fair to the developer if they don't receive feedback and if their hard work is completely ignored by someone being unappreciative and, quite frankly, greedy. What I'm essentially saying is I understand, and would NEVER redistribute or steal anyone's work. I like to think of myself as an honest and trustworthy person and I hope my posts on the boards have reflected that.


I also like to think of myself as a friendly person. I treat everyone fairly and in a way that I wouldn't feel offended if I was treated in said way. I try to interact with as many people as I can, which has actually a very good thing due to the amount of really cool people I've met over the boards who I now consider very good friends.


Finally, I love to improve. Some of you might have your doubts upon whether or not I would be a suitable person to be granted access into the Fan Games section. I hope that this audition has shown that I can be trusted and I WILL be an active person all over the forums and not just Fan Games. If it hasn't however, note that I will not take offence or hold a grudge if you do indeed cast me a no vote. As I said I love to improve, so provided you leave me with feedback, I will strive to ensure I improve under the given feedback, although I hope that this post has shown I am already a suitable person for Fan Games and that this will not be necessary but again, I will not take offence.

So I hope this post has shown that I can be trusted into entering Fan Games. I do wish to emphasize that I am a trustworthy person and a yes vote would mean a great deal to me. It's been great getting to know you all over these past months and I hope you feel the same.
