Hello everyone,
My name is nrm98, and I would like to audition for a place in the Fan Games section of the Millionare Fans forum. As a game creator, I have several projects that I am eager to share with trusted members of the site. By doing this, I hope to gain insight and collaborate with many others regarding Millionaire fan work, gaining knowledge which will help me with my projects, and also sharing my opinions about the great work which the members of this site are known for.
To supplement my audition, I have prepared several works for you, some of which I am more than happy to share in its original form, and some of which I would like to provide a preview for now, so that I can hopefully release these in the Fan Games section if and when I am admitted.
1) Firstly, I would like to share a package of Classic Millionaire Graphics almost all of which I have prepared from scratch in PowerPoint 2013. These graphics contain lifelines, question hexagons, money trees, as well as other small items. Only the background image is not created from scratch; however, the wide background image has been photoshopped for smoothness. This package is unmarked and can be downloaded here: www.mediafire.com/?w39t2fps5pd4iw8
Here's an example of these graphics put together in some PowerPoint slides:
2) Secondly, I would also like to offer similar graphics for the clocked and shuffle Millionaire formats as well. These are watermarked. If I pass an audition, these would be shared upon entrance. I have also included a money tree for the Shuffle format.
I am most proud of my meticulous work with the clock and dot bar in the clocked version, and it would be amazing to be able to share the video files of these components with others.
3) Next, I want to share video previews of the versions of shuffle and clocked Millionaire that I am creating in PowerPoint. I would like to express thanks to Cellostar47 for the cues in the shuffle PowerPoint. The clocked sounds were downloaded from YouTube using a converter.
(apologies if the videos do not work initially, Vimeo has a waiting period for uploads. Please do watch them at some point however, they include my favorite creations)
4) Finally, as an extension of the audition, I want to share some sneak peeks of a new 1 vs 100-based spinoff game that I am creating in PowerPoint. This is mainly for social gatherings where the "mob" cannot be 100 people. The end product would be shared in Fan Games if I was to be granted access. I actually plan to use Poll Anywhere in the presentation, so if all goes well, it could be a real crowd-pleaser!
I have developed various sets for generic game shows as well as Millionaire in specific, and I would be open to sharing those works in the future as well.
As you can see, I am very enthusiastic about Millionaire and game shows. I believe that this has been reflected in my posts, which I feel have not been one-liners and have hopefully contributed to various discussions throughout the board. Overall, I would understand if I was denied access in this audition, but gaining access would possible by the sweetest start to my summer vacation. I have loved my time on the board thus far and would love to share my work with members of the Fan Games group, collaborate, discuss, learn, and have a lot of fun meeting new people!
If there are any questions or clarifications that I need to make, I would be glad to clear up any concerns. Thanks for considering this application, and I hope that I can join most of you soon!
