Fox just announced earlier this week that Ryan Seacrest's latest production, Knock Knock Live, has been cancelled after 2 episodes. The reality show has celebrities knock on random people's doors and surprise them with cash, prizes, or anything that will change their lives. The first episode featured soccer star David Beckham and rapper Common. The second episode featured Justin Bieber surprising a 15 year old girl with a quinceanera. Other celebrities that were supposed to appear were Lea Michele, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande and Meaghan Trainor.
I believe the show got cancelled because of the low ratings. Most people on Tuesday nights would rather be watching America's Got Talent than watching celebs knocking on random people's doors. The format of the show was unappealing to the audience and a little boring. This might've reminded some people of another show that have done this sort of thing. I don't know which one. Luckily, we'll still get to see Seacrest in the final season of American Idol.
What do you guys think about the show? I think it should add something that would make it worthy to compete with Got Talent.

I mean, to me it looked like it was nothing more than the America Family Publisher's Clearinghouse visits... without the giant check. There was no real draw to it. I mean sure... you would nominate someone or yourself into a pool of millions and hope that you're able to get a visit from your favorite celebrity. I didn't think this had as much viability as other reality shows or any of Fox's Game shows.

Can not lie. Glad it's cancelled. Got really tired of hearing Ryan Seacrest promote it on the radio. Besides, I just can't stand him.

I've never heard of it and I don't think I would really like it.
Not to mention, Justin Bieber is so five years ago.

AGT is hard to compete with. Also, the intentions were good... But overall, not a very appealing show.
