The Staff Discussion board is locked to non-operators, but when there's a new post in that sub forum, the New Posts icon for this board shows up on the front page. Since I can't get in to read the new post, I can't clear that icon.
Any ideas?
Edit: oddly enough, posting this made it go away. I will never understand ProBoards...

I normally use the "Mark All Forums" button on the main landing page. I get the same thing about notices about posts to Fan Games even though I have no access. Using that link on the front marks all forums read, even ones that I cannot read. |

This is more of a ProBoards quirk than something that we're able to address, but it does appear that retched's suggestion is a good solution. Thanks, retched! |
