Hey guys,
Lately the Verdana font hasn't been working properly on my computer. Everything that uses Verdana and is not bold will appear italicized. I've had this problem once before, so I deleted the font and downloaded it somewhere else, only to find out that it was incomplete (missing many characters, such as the euro).
*I believe it is also worth noting that this time, the Celador edition of Copperplate has disappeared as well. I'll have to look for that again.
This problem has come back now, and this time, I thought I'd turn to you guys for help. So, how can I fix this, and get back the full version of Verdana?
Thanks a lot!

Funny. I had the same exact problem. If you're using Windows, your Verdana font family must be corrupted (you're missing one of the sub-fonts).
If you head to Control Panel -> Fonts, you'll find that if you double click on Verdana, you can access all the different variations of that font. Most likely, Verdana regular will be missing.
The way I fixed it is I went to another Windows computer in my house, went to Control Panel -> Fonts on that one, copied the entire complete Verdana font family, and pasted it onto a flash drive. Plugged that flash into my problematic computer, copied and pasted all the fonts into the Fonts folder, and everything was back to normal.

This essentially was going to be my suggestion shy of saying go to someone else's house who has a proper Windows installation and copy it from there.
