Hey guys,
as I've written in the "Introduce" Thread, I'm a German guy, wo tries to create a German version of WWTAM with Powerpoint. By now I've reached a point where it would be great, if someone has any ideas to make this project look a little bit more professional and get some more customize in it.
Could anybody please tell me, what you guys exactly need to get a closer look on this project and how I can achieve that for you.
I'm thankful for any ideas and your help.
Greetings George

Hello and welcome to the forums!
We'd all be willing to take a look at your PowerPoint. I'd recommend snapping a few screenshots of your game and then uploading them to imgur. Using the links they give you you can embed the screenshots into this thread so we can all see. After that we can offer you the advice you're looking for.
Thanks!

Thanks for your warm welcome nrm98! I've to uploaded some images, the way you said, so I hope that you can see how I brought this presentation to life: This is the first thing you see by pressing F5 once: by clicking with your left mouse key you see the "walk to the chair" animation that btings the lights down like this: by clicking a second time you get the question itself. Every next click will bring up one answer. When you need to use a lifeline it looks like this this is the picture, when you say "that's my final answer ..right ...wrong The lights at win for Question 5 The light at round number 2 ... Round 3 ... and question 15 And this is my animation tab for each question I hope, that this information are helpful to recreate my project. Of course I used the typical music from the WWTBAM Album. If you need some more information just let me know... Thanks for your help and suggestions George

I personally believe that there is some really good logic and animations put behind your powerpoint software, however you are having the exact same problem as me ! Those bluddy question lozenges ! They are so difficult to make the curved edges as apposed to the quite square rigid ones , anyway good luck!
Also I see that you are German and I am doing German GCSE !!
So...
Morgen, werde Sie äußerst beträchtlich tag !

Try manipulating the shapes in PPT to create that rounded edge. See what I've done below.

It has a pencil tool, if you're thinking freehand drawing. However that up there is just teardrop shapes rotated.

Woa! guys... take a step back please you're talking to a newbe in this sector at the moment. First of all, I want to thank you ALL for your reply. In relation to that, I should say, that this is my first Powerpoint software, in which I see a potential for more improvements in a serious direction. That's one of the reasons, why I'm so happy about your compliments. But there are some things I'm quite unsure with, and I'd like them to discus with you guys, before we go any further: 1. Is there any possibility to get some fundamental logic to this software? The thing is that you're only able to play one single round at the moment. (That means you've got the same questions again and again); Apart form that, the lifelines are preprogrammed, so I know by the time I'm pressing F5, which answer is wrong by using the 50 50, or which answer is voted by the audience. 2. I want to get some new look into this great game. I thought about something like the US version with Meredith, just something fresh to look and maybe to hear at. Does anyone know how I can deal with that? Maybe some new animations would help too. 3. Is there any chance to make the hosting of this show more realistic from my side as a host? (When I play this round with a contestant I've no chance to get any additional information on the screen, because I don't know how to create my own host screen, so that the contestant can't see what I'm seining, for example some explanations, or the correct answer, phone a friend mates and so on) If this helps, I could use a second laptop. I've seen a video on that but don't know how to manage it! Some notes at the end: Due to my handicap I'm sadly not able to use this drawing tool you were talking about, because of cramping in my hands. It would be great, if you could help me further with that baby, or maybe, if you think it’s better, we can even start a complete new one. Thanks once again and looking forward to hear from you all! Greetings George
