My name is Liam and I'm a student from Scotland, I love all things Deal Or No Deal and am so happy to be here!
Well, I don't really have any sort of lucky numbers or whatever so i'm just gonna randomly pick a box... Hmm... i'll take Box 15 please.

Noel: It's an absolute pleasure to have you here, and we hope we can make your game memorable with a big win! *Audience cheers* Noel: Right, so just a little bit of housekeeping we have to get out of the way first. Each box is filled randomly with one of our 22 amounts at the start of each game using random.org, the list is then scrutinized by the independant adjudicator, to ensure no patterns are found in the list which could allow you to know what's in each box. Box 15 contains one of the amounts, none of the other 21 boxes contains that amount, and there is no way to distinguish the boxes from each other, other than the number on the front and the amount inside. Noel: Best of luck, meredithregis , let's play Deal or No Deal! *Audience cheers, swoosh sound heard* Noel: Right, you know the drill, 5 boxes and then we'll get our first call from Mr. Banker. Which 5 would you like to open?

Noel: You can, Number 6, start the game with a blue please: *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers* Noel: Great start! *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: 4 more of them, please. Number 14? Let's see what's inside: *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers* Noel: Perfect start, 2 blues. *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: 22? Ok, Death Box: *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers* Noel: 10p gone! *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: Can we make this an all-blue opener? Box 13. Unlucky for some, let's hope lucky for you: *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers again* Noel: Another blue, this is a great round so far! *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: We're on the verge of an all blue opening round here, come on, find one more blue. Box 5, show us what we want to see: *Drum Bang* *Audience remain silent* Noel: Bah, what a shame, still, it's a great board. *Swoosh sound heard, and the audience are now applauding* Noel: We may not have gotten the all-blue round, but we still have all of our power five intact. We need an offer prediction from you, if you get within 10%, we will have a button game!

Well I think because of the £20,000 going it will bring the offer down slightly, and I have all my power 5 intact and the banker only has 3 of his left, so I think i'm going to say... £8,800 as my prediction.

Noel: Right, £8,800. Noel: If that falls within the 10% range, we'll have a button game.

(The Banker hasn't responded yet, so to speed things up, I used an online Deal offer simulator, so if the other offers seem a bit more/less than this, that's why) *Phone rings, set turns red* *Noel picks up the phone* Noel: Good afternoon Banky! How are we today?... Good. Right so, what do you think?... Ok, thank you. *Noel puts the phone down* Noel: He seems to think you're quite nervous, and he's going to take advantage of that throughout the game somehow. He also says you took 4 blues in Round 1, but in Round 2, you're going to take 3 big reds, so seriously consider his offer. His opening offer for your box is £11,000, which means in terms of the button... You were too modest, so sadly we don't have a button game. *Audiece awws, then applauds* Noel: Turns out the £20,000 didn't do as much damage as you thought. Anyway, it's time for the question, and can I have your next three boxes please. Noel: meredithregis. £11,000. Deal or No Deal?

Thank you Mr Banker for the fantastic offer but the board still has a lot of good amounts, No Deal.
Can I now have Boxes 20, 8 and 2 please.

*No Deal sound plays, audience applauds*
Noel: Ok, 3 more boxes, where are we going first? Box 20. Don't open that Box to reveal a big red... Please. Whatever you do, don't open it until after the break!
*Drum Bang, pre-break plays, camera zooms in on Box 20, audience applauds*
*Into break plays*
(Once I get back to my own laptop with all of the Deal boxes and graphics, the break will end.)

*Out of break plays* Noel: Welcome back to Deal, meredithregis was just about to have Box 20 opened, so here we go: *Drum Bang* *Audience applaud* Noel: £3,000 is fine. *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: Come on, get that penny out of your life. Box 8, please. *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers* Noel: Great! The more blues gone, the better the offer will be. *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: One more. Number 2, please: *Drum Bang* *Audience applaud* Noel: Not ideal, but shouldn't affect things too much in terms of the offer. *Swoosh sound heard, audience are cheering "Come On!"* Noel: That was another good round, we still have all of our power 5 intact, we are in a great position here. The Banker may just be starting to get a little bit worried at the board now, let's see what his offer is.

*Phone rings, set turns red* *Noel picks up the phone* Noel: Hello Banker... Yes, they're all still there, and it's staying like that until 5 box... Well at least that's what we want, anyway... Thank you. *Puts phone down* Noel: He says congratulations on keeping all the top 5 there so far, but sooner or later you'll have to take all of them out, because you have 1p in your box, so before disaster strikes, take £15,000. *Audience cheers* Noel: Think of it this way, no matter what happens, you have to have at least 2 of the power five left by the end of the next round, but can you keep more than that? Is £15,000 the peak of your game? That's what you have to decide. Also, I need your next three boxes, or if you'd like, you can go one or two at a time as well. Noel: meredithregis. £15,000. Deal or No Deal?

Wow! £15,000! I have never even seen that amount of money ever. It's tricky because I could take the 3 highest out in a single round. However, I could also take the 3 lowest amounts out in a single round....
Y'know what no guts no glory... NO DEAL!
Can I now have boxes 21,3 and 7 please.

*No Deal sound plays, audience cheers* Noel: Right... We have to avoid those top 3. If we can get rid of the penny this round, even better, but first and foremost, make sure you avoid the quarter of a million. Box 21 is where we're going first, open it, please: *Drum Bang* *Audience groans* Noel: Ah. £100,000 gone. *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: Ok, we have to find 2 low blues now. Box 3? Okay, let's keep it low, keep it blue, please: *Drum Bang* *Audience cheers* Noel: That's much better! *Swoosh sound heard* Noel: Last box before the next offer, make it a blue. Box 7, lucky for some. Is it lucky for you today? *Drum Bang* *Audience gasp slightly* Noel: It most certainly is not lucky. This has not been a good round. *Swoosh sound plays* *Waiting for Banker's call plays* Noel: Now this board is a lot more even. It's still slightly in our favour though, as there are more reds left than blues, but you took 2 of the top three amounts in that round. The £250,000 is still there, though, as well as £35,000 and £50,000. There is still a lot of money up for grabs. Now it's time to see what the next offer for your box is.
