Deal Or No Deal RPG

Noel: I think that's the goal of everyone who comes here, and now you need to pick your box. One of them does contain that £250,000, which Box would you like to have as your box?

Noel: Right, 17. Box 17 is sealed by the independent adjudicator, (me) they are the only person who knows where any of the money is. The boxes are assigned their values using random.org, and the list given is then scrutinized to make sure no patterns are emerging anywhere. All that out of the way, let's play Deal!

*Audience cheers, box opening round music plays*

Noel: We need 5 boxes before the Banker gives us his first offer. Try and avoid the big money.

Noel: How very original... *Audience laughs* But, you never know, those could be the Banker's Power Five, let's find out, Box 1:

Noel: Uh oh... Are they going to be all of OUR power five? Let's find out, Box 2, please:

Noel: Not the best end to the round, but overall, I don't think that was too bad:

Noel: You could say you've eroded the top right hand side, but the top 4 are all still there, and the £20,000. Your strategy wasn't that bad, so far at least... We need an offer prediction from you  please, get  within 10% and we get a button game.

Noel: I doubt he'll like you calling him cheap, let's hope it doesn't affect our offer too much, remember we need £10,000 to be in the 10% range, so we can use the button.

*Phone rings, set turns red, Noel picks the phone up*

Noel: Afternoon, feels like ages since we've spoken, Banker... Right... Ok... Well, he won't be happy then, but thank you. *Puts phone down, set turns purple* Right. Banker says since you took the £35,000 he COULD go low, but the rest of the round was ok in his books, and the £15,000 can't damage the board too much yet... His offer is £9,000, is our prediciton in the range?


Noel: Unfortunately, it isn't... *Audience groans, but applauds the offer*

Noel: Yes, let's have an all blue round, find the penny this round. Box 6, sticking with your numbering system so far...

Noel: Yeah, that one's fine, not going to have an all blue round though. Again, the system, Box 7, please be a blue:

Noel:  That isn't great. There's a huge gap on that right hand side of the board now, but all the top 4 are still in play. Keep it that way, please. I see your not going for 8, are you abandoning your system? Anyway, Box 18, please:

Noel: That's much better, you avoided the big money, well done.

Noel: You did do quite a bit of damage, hence the  big gap on the right hand side. You need to be careful here, as you could end up isolating the top 4 with no other reds, we don't want that. Taking the pound helped, but do you think the offer will go up or down from £9,000 here?
