A few times now on The Chase Australia, you could see the promo for an upcoming episode (mostly there are coming up later the same day or even the next day)
Just one really bad 15 or 30 second promo of the worst kind of promos can straight out tell you 1. The chaser for the upcoming episode. 2. The amount of contestants who make it to the final chase. 3. The total money in the prize fund. 4. The amount of steps the contestant/s has made in their 2 minutes.
Do other countries for any game show use a promo that almost gives away the complete result?

German Millionaire promos always drop (more or less subtle) hints when a contestant gets to the million euro question. Normally, they don't reveal if they get it all or not, but In the one for the last winner they even played the "Lock-in" sound, indicating that he was going to go for it. The US version does that too. They always reveal big winners in the promos, and then show the value they end up walking away with, saying, "How far will (s)he go?"

That's pretty bad, alright.
Mark Burnett is another guy notorious for spoiling his own shows like "500 Questions" and "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?"
