theidentfan: New top-prize winner in South Africa! (That's a sentence I never thought I'd say ) I guess the next on will be Poland then...

theomorton: Hi Matt, I was reading your post and I understand you have access to a question database? I'm working on a personal hobby project and was looking for a DB of questions. Can you help? Thanks ahead!

probium: Sound design of Arkadium Millionaire is flawed. Once I get the final question wrong, I get treated to the $32,000 lose cue, NOT the $1 Million lose cue.

FrankT: Good grief, nobody told me they revived Wheel of Fortune in the UK. Looks like I have something else to watch now!

probium: For some reason when I click on a lifeline I already used, it freezes. Also the sound design is flawed, with the normal question wrong theme playing in place of the early question wrong theme.

Has anyone noticed the new music under the first few questions? It plays the complete track during the question but the bass and percussion seem to continue throughout that whole section of the game.
What are your thoughts? And how soon can we get ahold of this music

Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate??
To contact me via email, please PM me and I'll send my email. Having it on my profile resulted in abuse.
i am guessing that music was supposed to be in season 9 without randomized money :/
I doubt it. I'm pretty sure it was created for this season, knowing they needed another think cue.
I agree. It harks back to the original music and doesn't fit into the shuffle format. Just why didn't they make new milestone, lights down, and correct answer cues too? The rest of the music works okay with the current format, but those stick out like a sore thumb for me. My hope is that we get a new Millionaire app with the cue included. It would make sense, since the last app (which I didn't love) was shut down recently.

Because it costs money, and why spend the money when you already own these cues that work just fine? IMO, the cues actually fit better in their current spots than they did on Shuffle.

Does anyone know how much it costs to comission one piece of music? I am aware of the financial situation of the show, but I find it a strange move to have just one cue made. If the music is really that expensive, why didn't they use the track that played in the main menu of the "Millionaire & Friends" app for the Q1-5 background? That one would would be an okay fit for me, just like the other cues they reappropriated.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for the cue. For me, it's one of the best things of the season. It's the reasoning behind it I don't quite understand. Maybe I'm just overthinking it and they had just enough money left from the budget, and thought, "What to do with it?"
I'm under the understanding that those tracks from the Millionaire and Friends and "Millionaire 2" apps were made by Ludia. Although I might be wrong in that regard.
Yeah, I did a lot of google searching, but it didn't work well.
nothing comes up
There's really no way to isolate the sounds currently. Chris is doing a lot of talking over it. Plus there is no playable game that incorporates the Q1-5 bed currently... That might change if anyone decides to make a new mobile or console/PC game for Millionaire.
TBH, it kind of sounds like the first few seconds of the "Jump the Question" joker. Maybe they did something with that? I'm not sure if I can post an MP3 file here but if I can I'll show you exactly what I mean.

I agree, it was created for the current season. They do not play any music during the first five questions in the Vegas studio, it is quiet with only Chris and the contestant talking. After the first threshold they play heartbeat music, but not the music that is on the show.
